Time for the annual Dabu Halloween Party!
People might've heard rumors the party was dead, but it's alive and kickin'. C'mon now...Dabu doesn't die, it multiplies! We've switched locations and hope to see everyone there. Come one, come all...bring your friends, it's all good. Dabu will welcome you with an apple pie shot...I mean, open arms!

Pictures from Emma's Birthday dinner. Emma had her official birthday about a week ago but Tom and I took her out Friday night to a really nice Argentinian Restaurant in Ewok Village. I was so sad that I had already eaten as there was much meat that could have been had. Jan, Emma, and Kim are such wonderful people and new additions to the DABU Family.

Well, we are about 2 months away so get those Halloween costumes ready! DABU first formed in the fall of 1995. This Halloween marks the 10th Anniversary of it's conception. So this year's halloween party is going to be something special. We're definitely doing it up and hope that we can turn it into a 10 year reunion of sorts. The plan is to host it at DABU Castle as we have for the past couple of years. We are currently working on a 10th Anniversary Halloween CD and/or DVD Edition.
Post your comments on when you would like the Halloween Party held - Oct. 28th (Friday), Oct 29th (Saturday), or another day? Also, be sure to post your comments on what songs you would like included on the CD here. We're also looking for art work for the new CD covers, if you have any suggestions or want to come up with one yourself - send suggestions, pictures, etc... to chris@dabu.com or mdreyes23@hotmail.com
UPDATE:
That is correct sir - DABU Halloween will be held at DABU Castle on Saturday, October 29th unless I hear negrotion reports or unavoidable conflicts for our international guests. We'll hold off on sending the proper evite for a couple more weeks so post comments or send emails to chris@dabu.com if you feel strongly about it otherwise.
thanks

We had a pre-going away party for Mike and a couple of us hung out at DABU Castle for the evening. We got a bit crazy and decided to shoot some Motorcycle Modeling pictures for some unknown reason. You can also view more of them towards the end of Rich's Motorcycles album

Oh my word...were we ever this young. I swear we look like 12 years old in all of these pictures. For those wondering when and where DABU started...it started in 1995 in the International Dorm at the University of Maryland, College Park. Go Terps! Lou posted pictures up on his website The Peru Times and you can view the Old Skool album here. Suzy's Site also has the following albums: Dabu Daze Pt. 1 and Dabu Daze Pt. 2. Check them out, post comments and/or more captions!

Just a reminder that our good friend Jason Price is transfering to webMethods California. There's a farewell BBQ for him on Saturday, August 6th at DABU Castle. What's with all these people leaving the DC area?? Well, the good thing about spreading out DABU is that we have so many places to visit now.
Plenty of Bubba Burgers left over from last weekends party, so come hungry!

The first DABU Resort area party. My first night here we (Tom, Chris, and myself) decided to check out the locals. Every tuesday night they have a big thing going on at the Hyde Park club. This is the same place we tried to go for Jhason's bachelor party weekend but they wouldn't allow us in as a bachelor party unless we called ahead of time. It was a lot of fun. We got there at 1030 and it was sorta dead...but by about 11PM they quickly just started rolling in and the place was packed. We met so many people which was cool. A couple of people we discovered had just moved there recently (one girl from New Jersey and then some guy from DC as well). The guy from DC told me about this website he started at http://joinmehere.com. It's pretty interesting. Originally he had started two websites...GeorgetownParty.com and TampaSocial.com. Just recently both of those sites merged to become joinmehere.com. Basically a site to network and meet new people from both the DC area and the Tampa area at the local clubs and such. Apparently wednesday nights there's a big thing going on at the Green Iguana. Have no idea where that is. Chris and I got pretty crazy but were having fun meeting the locals so may hit Iguana tonight.

Thought I'd share these photos with the gang. I've been packing for the past couple of weeks, preparing for my trip to Florida... and came across photos that were almost 10 years old. Can you believe that? That's how old D.A.B.U. is basically! -B.A.

Roland and Cindy's BBQ was a major hit! It was a long drive but well worth it. We want to thank them again for being wonderful hosts and having us over. You guys have an amazing home. The food, drinks, and company were uhhhhhh! If ever Roland needs a second job, Mike is looking for a stay at home cook! Rich Koza has pictures of the party up on his site...you can view here. Jhason and Virginie also posted pictures up on snapfish and can be viewed here

It's time to see what you missed, or what you were part of, or what you were part of and don't remember... It's time for the... DABU Halloween Party 2004 Photos: Halloween Gone Wild!
This was the first major party at the DABU Castle and it was a total success. We had no fatal injuries, no cops were called, and no neighbors complained. Thanks, everybody, for a great party.
BTW - last year's photos are currently the #2 match on Google for Halloween Party Photos. Lets see if we make #1 for these new photos.
What are you waiting for? Go check out the Halloween party photos. And add some captions!

The party was great, the house is fine, and everybody had a great time.
We were having so much fun that we forget to do the costume contest. There were some great costumes as you will see in the photos.
I have about 200 photos from my camera - if you want to add your photos to the collection let me know asap.
Also, if you didn't get your DABU '04 CD please let us know.
