Little did I know - Filipinos actually had an ancient scripting text called Baybayin. Time for that tattoo I've always wanted. Being bored... fooled around with writing DABU in Baybayin and using actions within Adobe Photoshop. -Mike
We've all seen the SBC Packagers and Superfriends Flash skit. Well, those skits actually originated from Rex Navarette's first CD entitled "Husky Boy". Rex Navarette is a Filipino-American and is just hilarious. A bunch of us from DABU can relate to his jokes - a good number of us being Filipino. Jhason and Virginie surprised us all last Friday with the news that they are expecting!! Little N slated to come into our world May 2nd. We are all very excited for them and starting to feel quite old actually. DABU Generation II has already begun with Kai and Yuko's child and now with the addition of Jhason and Virginie's. Rich posted pictures of the announcement happy hour on his website.

Wow, been a long time since I've been to a concert. A couple of us went to the Foo Fighters/Weezer concert this past weekend at the St. Pete Times Forum down in Florida. I love the Foo Fighters and had such a blast. The place was great too... I can't wait to see a hockey game there. Great atmosphere, great friends, beer, and music... what more can ya ask for? After the concert we went to the Stadium Ben-Niggans for some grub. Oh, I also posted live videos of the bands at http://videos.dabu.com, just look for the link lower on the page. Enjoy. -Mike
Pictures from Emma's Birthday dinner. Emma had her official birthday about a week ago but Tom and I took her out Friday night to a really nice Argentinian Restaurant in Ewok Village. I was so sad that I had already eaten as there was much meat that could have been had. Jan, Emma, and Kim are such wonderful people and new additions to the DABU Family.
New footage from the Amazing Racist (aka Ari) on the DABU Videos website. These clips are from National Lampoon Presents Lost Reality (released September 28, 2004) and National Lampoon: Lost Reality 2 More (released May 24, 2005). You must have DIVX 6 and an AC3 Decoder to properly view and listen to the video clips. All 6 episodes of the Amazing Racist are up in their entirety. You can grab the 2 DVDs at your local Best Buy if you're interested in seeing what else is included besides the Amazing Racist. I have to say, Ari is freaking insane. DABU should definitely get some royalties for all the training we gave Ari back in college. Check out Ari's shirt in the Asian episode. Kai would love it.
Hoss and Darren are currently in the desert and enjoying the yearly event known only as Burning Man. We all wish them well and can't wait to here stories and see pictures. Next year we'll have to make it a full DABU clan trip.
